Inter Philadelphia Education Center will serve Hispanic students and its main goal is to provide an affordable college experience that will allow them to obtain an academic degree to serve their community.

Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center is a space designated for students to study, complete assignments or special projects.

Study Lounge

The Center has Apple computers available for the use of its students, which may be reserved by prior arrangements during its hours of operation.

IAUPR-Arecibo Campus has the approval of Authority to operate an education enterprise in Philadelphia, granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education. Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo Campus is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)

Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo Campus accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on 2013 was to reaffirm accreditation. MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Institutional Mission

Our mission is to provide post-secondary and higher education in the arts and sciences, through teaching, research and community service, within an ecumenical Christian context. We also offer educational programs at the preschool, elementary and secondary levels.
