Professional Licensure Notifications
Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR) – Philadelphia Education Center offers the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education: Preschool Level program leading to professional licensure in the State of Pennsylvania. The curriculum of this program has been designed to meet the educational part of the licensure/certification requirements and preparing students to apply for a teaching certificate in Pennsylvania.
Each state and territory of the United States, vary in what their licensure boards require to be licensed and the process to obtain a professional license or certificate. The determination as to the requirements to obtain a licensure or be employed in the profession after graduating from a program in another state, is made by each state or territory professional licensing boards.
In compliance with the current federal regulations, in particular sections 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) and 34 CFR 668.43 (c) “Professional Licensure Notifications”, we inform you that IAUPR – Philadelphia Education Center is in the process of determining whether the curriculum of the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education: Preschool Level, meet the requirements established for these purposes by the various states and territories of the United States.
